Travel to the 4th
International Conference on Annexins
September 30 – October 4,
2007
Avalon, Catalina Island,
California

Note: Catalina Island, as the name suggests, cannot be
reached by car/taxi. Ferry
service (1–1.5 hours) is the most economical way (~$60 roundtrip), a
chartered chopper (15 minutes) will run you upwards of $160. At your own risk: Swimming the 20+
miles takes from 10 hours upwardsÉ
Ferries leave from various ports in the greater Los Angeles
area to Avalon (Catalina Island), but some ports only have a few ferries per
week in fall, others have only one ferry a day, so planning ahead is
important. The fall schedules are out!
